The set of entities mentioned below are mostly specialized in seed capital or advice to achieve it; although a large number of them also invest in second rounds of financing. In the case of accelerators, they usually combine the provision of financing with training, advice and contacts.
However, it should be mentioned that, unlike in the United States, to obtain financing for this type of seed capital in Spain, it is necessary to have a good business plan well defined or even that the company has already taken its first steps and even has some clients. There are a huge number of seed capital entities in Spain, some are specialized in specific sectors and others have a much broader investment spectrum. This is a small selection of some of the most significant:
• CDTI
The Center for Technological and Industrial Development is a public entity that, among its many functions of supporting entrepreneurship, provides its own financial aid and facilitates access to that of third parties (mainly in the form of credits) for R&D&I business projects.
• DAD
Digital Assets Deployment is a Spanish incubator for businesses based on the Internet and Technology 2.0, which has a large international presence and supports projects through seed capital.
• Caixa Capital Risc Y Bstartup
Both names correspond to the divisions of Caixa and Banco Sabadell respectively, in charge of monitoring and financing startups.
• AIEI
In addition to providing advice to selected projects, the Association of Internet Investors and Entrepreneurs helps them obtain financial resources and access financing rounds.
• Cabieces & Partnerts
This venture capital company was founded by brothers Luis and José Cabieces. It enjoys great prestige within the Spanish investment scene.
• BAN Madri + d
Madri+d's Business Angels Network is an investment network specialized in technological projects whose companies are based in Madrid.
• Wayra
Telefónica's startup accelerator, which offers capital injections of 50,000 euros and support in the form of mentoring and offices for the first months of operation.
• Shuttle
Accelerator promoted by Juan Roig, president of Mercadona in Valencia, which offers capital, mentoring and work spaces.

Prestigious accelerator of technology-based projects that has the support of various business angels while offering training, advice and networking for innovative entrepreneurs and startups.
