There are a huge number of seed capital entities in Spain, some are specialized in specific sectors and others have a much broader investment spectrum. This is a small selection of some of the most significant:
• CDTI
The Center for Technological and Industrial Development is a public entity that, among its many functions of supporting entrepreneurship, provides its own financial aid and facilitates access to that of third parties (mainly in the form of credits) for R&D&I business projects.
• DAD
Digital Assets Deployment is a Spanish incubator for businesses based on the Internet and Technology 2.0, which has a large international presence and supports projects through seed capital.
• Caixa Capital Risc Y Bstartup
Both names correspond to the divisions of Caixa and Banco Sabadell respectively, in charge of monitoring and financing startups.
• AIEI
In addition to providing advice to selected projects, the Association of Internet Investors and Entrepreneurs helps them obtain financial resources and access financing rounds.
